SEEDING COMBINATIONS
Fast, trailed pneumatic drill combination
With modern seed drill technology, sowing efficiency is becoming more and more important, yet no compromises should be made regarding good reconsolidation and optimal placement of seeds. Also, it must be possible to use drill combinations universally in both mulch seeding and conventional tillage seeding approaches. LEMKEN’s Compact-Solitair 9 meets all of these requirements optimally. The concept of the drill is as follows – pre-sowing preparation is done either by an integrated short disc harrow HELIODOR or rotary harrow ZIRKON 12, with hydraulic depth adjustment, followed by rubber wheels with a diameter of 420/65-R20, laterally offset, with AS profile, which reduces the required traction , serves as a packer roller for good re-consolidation in sowing, and also enables safe and fast road transport. Next in line is the TPW 500mm trapezoidal roller (optional), which provides additional soil compaction and stabilization exactly in the sowing row area, while the OptiDisc double disc feeder system (maintenance-free) with rubber pressure wheel is responsible for maintaining uniform sowing depth, without blocking. even at high operating speeds. The standard OptiDisc system has mechanical adjustment of the feed pressure, while the hydraulic OptiDisc system can also be ordered as an option. The row spacing is 12.5cm or 16.7cm, towed, fixed versions are produced in 3m and 4m increments, with HELIODOR or ZIRKON 12 tools for pre-sowing preparation, while the grain bunker has a volume of 3,500 l. Also, the 4m or 6m version (HELIODOR front) can be ordered with a split hopper for granular mineral fertilizer, for which special fertilizer feeders are used between sowing rows. Trailed, foldable versions are produced in a width of 6 m, with a bunker with a volume of 5,000 l, in combination with a HELIODOR compact disc harow or ZIRKON 12 power harrow.
